Quanishia “Q” Gibson is a licensed therapist, relational trauma expert, writer, speaker, and strategist whose work is rooted in one core truth: the quality of our lives is shaped by the quality of our relationships.
Raised in a large, deeply connected family, Q learned early that love, leadership, and relational patterns are formed long before adulthood. Her own journey through relational rupture and repair taught her that people who learn how to tend to relational ruptures thrive, while those who don’t often stay stuck — this ultimately shapes the way we love, work, lead and build our lives.
Q is the founder of WITH Therapy, an integrative mental health and wellness practice, and creator of the Held Institute for Relational Healing where she teaches the HELD Method™, leads immersive workshops, intensives, and retreats. She is also the voice behind Held & Human, a writing and podcast platform exploring love psychology, relational healing and what it means to be seen, loved, and deeply human.
A connected entrepreneur at heart, Q is also co-founder of Momentum Works Agency, where she draws on more than 15 years of branding and marketing experience to help ventures resonate with real people in a tech-driven world. She also co-founded The Daughters Den in 2020, a nonprofit devoted to intergenerational healing for Black women and girls.
Her work has been recognized with honors including Top 25 in Mental Health by Black Female Therapists and Hanahana Beauty (2025) and Wellness Hero awarded by the African American Male Wellness Agency (2024), her work has been featured on platforms such as Bustle, Blavity, and beyond.
At the center of everything she does is a commitment to helping people, couples, and leaders tell the truth about who they are and repair the relationships that shape them to build real connections, and relational endeavors rooted in the courage to be deeply held.
